Bodyguards and Assassins.

So i just watched my first movie ever in 2010 in Sunway Pyramid and for a change, i decided to watch a chinese show instead of those typical hollywood ones:

Bodyguards and Assassins.

The story is mainly about this dude(Sun Yat-sen) coming to hong kong to prepare a revolution to over throw the Qing dynasty and so on. you wanna know any more details, go watch the movie, i can assure you it'll get your money's worth. ;D unless you're a person who despises chinese people or chinese histories or anything chinese as a matter of fact, then you can disregard this whole paragraph.

We actually planned to watch this movie in Cineleisure in Damansara, (near to The Curve if you don't know.) cause mah granduncle said that the surround sound and popcorn there is much better compared to tgv cinemas. (and to my surprise, it really are.) but due to various reasons, we decided to go to Pyramid instead. (I strongly suggest that next time if you're gonna watch any blockbusters, go to Cineleisure and watch, though it's quite a distance, but it's worth it, definitely. unless you have some hearing disorder)

You might be wondering, 'there are so many good movies out there now eg: Sherlock Holmes, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant and so on, why a chinese movie?' Two basic reasons:
  1. Cause my granduncle says it's nice, and when he says it's nice, it's nice. dude's been in the film industry for nearly 6 decades now, so you gotta give it up for him.
  2. Cause i'm watching with my parents, and my parents only watches movies my granduncle suggests.
On the scale of 1 to 10, i would give this movie a flat 7. Though the movie is nearly as long as Avatar, it'll definitely be worth the time. others that completely disagree with me can disregard this whole post pls tenkiu.

That's all for now. ;D

Yours Truly.
